Or you can browse by job type, and look though all directors, designers, stage managers etc. For actors you can filter your results by playing range and gender, or only select those who have included photographs.

In the advanced search you can select people with multiple skills (EG you can find someone who is a director and also a lighting designer) or filter your results by language skills and other criteria.

You can browse all clients of a particular agency who have created an Irish Theatre Artists profile through the Agents Page

There are also several keyword searches, allowing you to enter a specific skill such a ‘clown’, and find Artists who have training or qualifications in this area or who have highlighted clowning as a professional interest.

There are also keyword searches to allow you search through recent theatre work, or tv/film work. For example if you select ‘Actor’ and enter a keyword search for ‘Shakespeare’ the results will show anyone who has included a recent appearance in a Shakespearean play in their theatre work, or a keyword search for ‘Fair City’ will show any actor who has included the Irish television drama series amongst their recent credits.

You can also filter actor searches by including keywords for music and dance and sporting skills.

When you find the individuals you are seeking you can contact the individual directly or through their agent, print their Irish theatre Artists profile, or email their pages to your colleagues.

Lastly, Irish Theatre Artists is compatible with Irish Theatre Institute’s other online resources. So, if you are browsing through new plays in the Irish Playography you will see the following symbol indicating that we have a profile for this artist/practitioner on Irish Theatre Artists.
