Also that year, Paul’s musical THE HAUNTING OF HELENA BLUNDEN was named as a finalist for the Stiles and Drewe Prize for Best Song From A New Musical and numbers from the show were performed in concert at Queen’s Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue.
In 2012 Paul’s nineteenth musical SLEEPING BEAUTY, commissioned to mark his twenty years of writing new musical theatre, premiered at The Castle Theatre Wellingborough (Northamptonshire) and he directed his 1997 musical HANSEL & GRETTEL for the Lyric Theatre Belfast in a new production that ran until 13th January 2013.
