I am a freelance theatre director and theatre maker. I am a very experienced performer and a part-time Acting Tutor with the Gaiety School of Acting. I facilitate acting and directing workshops.

Acting work includes; The Abbey Theatre, Lyric Belfast, Cheek By Jowl, Oxford Stage Company, Birmingham Rep, The Young Vic, The Lyric Hammersmith, Greenwich Theatre, Gate Notting Hill, Leicester Haytmarket and many more. I performed with the Torifune Butoh Sha Company in 2004 at Samuel Becket Centre.

Films roles includes Ronny in Cathal Black's 'Pigs', Peter Dubois in Kevin Reynolds' 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' and John Fleming in Pat Murphy's 'Anne Devlin'.

I work occasionally on radio, mainly reading short stories.

- Four Years at the Stanislavski Studio in the Focus Theatre with Deirdre O' Connell and Mary Elizabeth Burke-Kennedy (mid/late 1970's), private voice work with Michael MaCallion (The Voice Book) and numerous workshops at the Actors Centre in London. Worked with particularly inspired directors like Lindsay Anderson, Declan Donnellan (Cheek By Jowl), Phyllida Lloyd (National Theatre/ 'Mama Mia'), James MacDonald (Royal Court), Annie Castledine (Theatre de Complicite).
Worked with Lars Oyno, from Oslo, on his Artaud based techniques and with Oyvind Jorgensen, also from Oslo, on his Butoh related work.
